AMRAP 8 mins: Bar Muscle-ups and Burpees-to-Target

Complete as many rounds as possible in 8 mins of:

3 Bar Muscle-ups

6 Burpees-to-Target

4 Bar Muscle-ups

6 Burpees-to-Target

5 Bar Muscle-ups

6 Burpees-to-Target ... Continue adding 1 Bar Muscle-up rep each round until time expires.

Rest 5 mins before "Hobgoblin."


The goal here is to work on muscle-up efficiency as well as introduce a standard of the burpee we can plan to see during the Open. The burpees will stay the same as we increase those bar muscle-ups each round. Be sure to pace this one as we only get a 5 min rest before tackling the next part of the workout.

Complete as many rounds as possible in 8 mins of:

6 Shoulder-to-Overheads, 115/75 lbs

6 Bar Facing Burpees

8 Shoulder-to-Overheads, 115/75 lbs

6 Bar Facing Burpees

10 Shoulder-to-Overheads, 115/75 lbs

6 Bar Facing Burpees ... Continue adding 2 Shoulder-to-Overhead reps each round until time expires.

Start with 4 Strict Pullups...Continue adding 2 reps until time expires

L2 (Part 2): 95/65


L1 (Part 1):

Start with 6 Jumping Pullups...Continue adding 2 reps until time expires

L1 (Part 2):

Start with 6 Strict DB Press....Continue adding 2 reps until time expires
