Weightlifting:

1x [ 2 Power Snatches + 2 Hang Power Snatches + 2 Overhead Squats ]

*Pick load Every 1 min for 10 mins.

We are looking for a load that can be cycled smoothly and effectively. Do not push load, rather push the movement pattern and technically proficiency here. That is really what we are after.


"Daken":

Complete as many rounds as possible in 8 mins of:

10 American Kettlebell Swings, 53/35 lbs

1 Burpee Box Jump Over, 24/20 in

10 American Kettlebell Swings, 53/35 lbs

2 Burpee Box Jump Overs, 24/20 in

10 American Kettlebell Swings, 53/35 lbs

3 Burpee Box Jump Overs, 24/20 in

... Continue adding 1 Burpee Box Jump Over rep each round until time expires.


Goal: 7+ rounds

This one is simple, but very effective at getting the stimulus we are looking for today. This one should be a short burner with the emphasis on staying steady on the kettlebell swings and pushing the pace during the burpee box jump overs.
